Businesses invited to take part in Climate Summit 2025
Eco-conscious businesses are being invited to take part in the Wiltshire Climate and Environment Summit 2025.
The two-day summit will be held at County Hall in Trowbridge, with the first day dedicated to businesses on Friday, June 20 between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
Business can learn how to smooth and accelerate their journey to net zero.
Juliet Davenport (pictured), the founder of Chippenham-based renewable energy supplier Good Energy, will give the keynote speech and there will be presentations by Trowbridge-based frozen food firm apetito on purpose and process, Swindon-based Nationwide building society on offices, buildings, and infrastructure, and Chippenham-headquartered Wincanton on transport and logistics.
Other attractions include a solution provider fair and plenty of opportunities to network.
The summit is being organised by Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Climate Alliance on a not-for-profit basis and endorsed by Swindon Borough Council.
The 2025 summit is intended to be a precursor to a series of events throughout the year and a larger summit in 2026.
It is designed to precipitate action on climate change through commitment, collaboration and transparency.
A community day will follow on Saturday, June 21.
