Mogers Drewett appoints new head of marketing and business development
South West legal and financial planning firm Mogers Drewett has appointed Leslie Redwood as head of marketing and business development.
Leslie has more than 20 years’ experience in business development and building strategic partnerships in the financial services and charity sectors, both regionally and nationally.
In his new role, Leslie will be responsible for driving growth across Mogers Drewett’s offices in Bath, Wells, Sherborne and Frome, and developing the firm’s specialist legal and financial services.
Leslie was previously head of charities business development at RBC Brewin Dolphin, which is one of the UK’s largest charity investment managers. There he worked with charities across the country and managed ten specialist teams providing tailored investment solutions to the third sector.
Prior to this, Leslie had a national leadership role at Citizens Advice in London where he spearheaded marketing and business development strategies across more than 250 offices. He was also CEO of Citizens Advice in Bath and North East Somerset where he led staff and volunteers through the Covid pandemic to raise the charity’s revenue by 50 per cent.
Leslie said: “I am delighted to be joining this incredible team and I look forward to working across the four offices to promote, grow and develop our brilliant service across the region. This is a dream job for me, having worked in partnership with the firm on various occasions over the last decade and I am excited to be part of this incredible legal and financial services professional team.”
Sean McDonough, managing partner at Mogers Drewett, said: “Leslie has an impressive track record in business development, delivering successful results for organisations in both the private and third sectors, so we are delighted to welcome him to our growing team.
“His arrival follows a period of strong growth for Mogers Drewett and a record number of promotions across our commercial and private client teams. Leslie will help us identify new opportunities for growth and provide strategic guidance to the firm as we continue to expand the range of legal and financial services that we offer.”
