Commercial disputes lawyer returns to Mogers Drewett
South West legal and financial planning firm Mogers Drewett has strengthened its dispute resolution team with the return of commercial lawyer Jake Stacey.
Jake returns to Mogers Drewett as a partner having previously been an associate solicitor in the firm’s disputes team before leaving in 2019.
He has nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial disputes and litigation, specialising in construction industry disputes.
He rejoins Mogers Drewett, which has offices in Bath, Sherborne, Wells and Frome, from Bath-based engineering company Buro Happold where he was an in-house lawyer advising on contract disputes.
Prior to this he held senior associate positions at both Bevan Brittan in Bristol and at Royds Withy King (now RWK Goodman) in Bath.
John Osman, head of Mogers Drewett’s disputes team, said: “Jake has a great deal of experience and specialist knowledge, especially dealing with construction disputes, so we are delighted to welcome him back to the firm.
“His return strengthens our existing team of corporate and construction solicitors, and further enhances the specialist legal advice that we offer to our commercial clients.”
