Lichfields expands Thames Valley planning team with new appointment
Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has appointed Beatriz Pinol as a planner in its Thames Valley office based in Reading.
Beatriz will work across a range of projects in the region as Lichfields continues to expand. She joins after completing a BSc (Hons) in Geography at the University of St Andrews.
Her studies included GIS mapping and urban analysis, while internships with an environmental NGO and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures gave her hands-on experience of sustainability policy and environmental reporting.
Daniel Lampard, Head of Lichfields’ Thames Valley office, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Beatriz to the team. We have a busy programme of work across the region and her appointment adds further strength and breadth as we take forward a number of significant projects.
“She brings a strong academic background alongside useful experience in sustainability and environmental policy and will have the opportunity to work on some high-profile schemes from the outset.”
Lichfields has established a strong track record in the Thames Valley, with the team advising on schemes including LEGOLAND Windsor, the ongoing Berkeley Homes’ redevelopment of the former Horlicks factory in Slough and the award winning Cubecold multi temperature warehouse in Theale.
Beatriz Pinol said: “I’m really pleased to be joining the Thames Valley team and starting my career in planning with Lichfields. I’m looking forward to building on the experience I gained at university and through my internships, while getting involved in a wide range of projects across the region.”
Beatriz’s appointment further strengthens the Thames Valley team as it continues to work across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure and tourism and public sector projects.
