Wansbroughs private client team maintains Tier 2 placing in Legal 500
The corporate and commercial team at Wiltshire law firm Wansbroughs has won a coveted place in the Legal 500 – joining the private client, family, and commercial property teams.
The team was ranked Tier 3 having been listed as a Firm to Watch in the 2023 guide. The team provides advice to businesses on a range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial contracts, shareholders agreements and corporate restructuring.
A citation read: “Very good regional player with London expertise, high-quality commercial advice.”
Elsewhere, the private client team maintained its Tier 2 placing in Legal 500, placing it alongside some significant regional and national firms.
The team provides expert advice covering estate planning, trusts, tax and estate administrations to a range of clients from high-net-worth individuals, to trustees, and the owners of landed estates.
A citation read: “Wansbroughs’ approach to private client advice is thorough and personable. Their strengths are their exceptional knowledge of tax planning and trusts and their ability to handle probate cases with sensitivity. The team work efficiently, updating with progress regularly.

Its commercial property team – which services clients in the healthcare, renewables and development sectors, dealing with a wide variety of real estate matters – held on to its Tier 3 placing.

And the family team, covers a breadth of public family work as well as representing high-value individuals in matters relating to divorce and separation, maintained its Tier 4 status.

Besides the teams, 16 individual solicitors achieved Recommended Lawyer status, which recognises them as leading individuals within their fields.
