Law firm picks hospice as Charity of the Year

Wiltshire law firm Wansbroughs has selected Dorothy House Hospice as its Charity of the Year.

Dorothy House provides end‑of‑life care and support for people with life‑limiting illness, as well as vital support for families, friends and carers across our community.

The charity celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

The charity was chosen by staff. Partner Emma Jewell, who has volunteered with Dorothy House for the past eight years, said: “Dorothy House does extraordinary work for people and families at the most difficult times in their lives.

“Volunteering there over the past eight years has shown me the compassion and dedication of everyone involved.

“I’m really pleased that Wansbroughs has chosen to support Dorothy House, particularly in such a significant year for the charity.”

Over the coming months, colleagues across the firm will have opportunities to get involved in supporting Dorothy House, including fundraising and volunteering activities.

Members of the firm will also be attending Dorothy House events over the year to learn more about their work and how Wansbroughs can provide meaningful support. We have a full roster of fundraising events and challenges through the year.
