Inheritance expert joins farming team at Wansbroughs
Succession planning and inheritance expert Chris McCormick has joined the agriculture & landed estates team at Wiltshire law firm Wansbroughs.
The firm says the appointment will strengthen its offering to farming and agricultural clients.
Chris joins Wansbroughs with a strong private client background and particular experience advising on wills, powers of attorney, estate administration and Court of Protection matters.
He has developed expertise in supporting clients with estates that include agricultural and business interests, bringing a practical and empathetic approach to complex personal and family matters.
It says that by continuing to invest in specialist expertise, the firm is able to offer clients joined-up advice on the issues that matter most, from succession planning and inheritance matters to the long-term protection of family assets.
Jennifer Vooght, team leader of the agriculture & landed estates team, said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the team. His experience in private client work, particularly his expertise in assisting landowners and those with business interests pass on their estates in a smooth and tax-efficient manner, will make him a valuable addition to our growing practice.
“Chris’s appointment strengthens the dedicated support we already offer farming and agricultural clients, and reflects our commitment to delivering specialist, personal advice to the rural community.
“As our team continues to grow, we are increasingly well placed to support clients with the long-term challenges and opportunities facing farming families and rural businesses.”
