Devizes law firm Wansbroughs takes on six new trainees

Devizes law firm Wansbroughs has taken on six new trainee solicitors this month, taking the total number of trainees in the firm to 14.

The six aspiring lawyers joining the firm’s training programme are Lauren Baddeley, Georgia Clark, David Cooper, Alex Davies, Valankie Fernandes and Drew Poppleton.

Anna Wensley Stock, a partner at Wansbroughs, said: “This year we received hundreds of applications to our training programme and we are really excited to be joined by such a strong intake of ambitious trainees.

“The training programme provides first-hand experience of high-quality legal work across a variety of practice areas, with direct access to clients.

“Many of the firm’s current partners began their journey with a training contract at Wansbroughs and have progressed through the ranks, building their practice and reputation to become the established partners of today.”

Wansbroughs offer both Periods of Recognised Training and Qualifying Work Experience placements, both of which are available as two-year programmes, usually commencing in September each year.
