New tenant gives it a shot at former military equipment store
A new letting on 75 Cricklade Road Gorse Hill Swindon has been secured by commercial property agent Kilpatrick & Co.
The property was previously a military clothing and equipment store, but they ceased trading some time ago and the building has been empty.
It occupies a corner spot, just down from Iceland and extends to 3,273 sq ft on two floors.
It has been taken on a long term lease and has reopened as Grand Bazaar, a supermarket selling a variety of fresh food and produce, including fresh Bangladeshi jackfruit, Malaysian jackfruit and Sri Lankan bananas, Pakistani mangoes, soursop, fiery sauces and spice mixes. The shop is open six days a week, 12 hours a day.
Andrew Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick & Co said: “We wish the guys well with this venture as they have put in a lot of work to get this supermarket up and running.
“Hopefully, it will benefit not only the local Gorse Hill residents, but shoppers from further afield keen to sample their produce.”
