Wiltshire law firm names charity of the year

Wiltshire law firm Goughs has named Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance as its charity of the year.

From April 2026, Goughs will be supporting the charity that keeps the helicopter in the air – flying critical, lifesaving medical care to those who need it most across Wiltshire and Bath.

From their airbase in Semington, the helicopter can reach anywhere across Wiltshire and Bath within 11 minutes.

Each year, Goughs undertakes a rigorous selection process to choose its Charity of the Year, involving colleagues from across the firm.

Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance stood out not only for the essential service they provide, but also because of their close connection to the communities in which Goughs operates, said the firm.

Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance relies entirely on public support to continue its vital work.

Over the coming year, the Goughs team will be undertaking a wide range of fundraising initiatives, alongside volunteering opportunities, to support the charity.

Plans already include organised events, firm-wide challenges, community activities and creative fundraising ideas designed to engage both staff and clients.

The firm’s fundraising efforts are already underway, with a Spring into Action focus driving the first wave of activity.

Many Goughs employees are taking part in a packed calendar of events across the spring and summer, including half marathons, 10Ks, a sprint triathlon and cycling challenges.
