Law firm Goughs celebrates three newly qualified solicitors

Three trainee lawyers at Wiltshire law firm Goughs have completed their training and qualified as solicitors.

Amelia Inglis and Hannah Francis will be joining the firm’s nationally-accredited family law team with Amelia being based at the Melksham office and Hannah joining the Corsham team.

Emilie Gouzien will be based at the firm’s Devizes office as a private client solicitor. She will be assisting clients with wills, lasting powers of attorney, and future planning.

Tom Boyce, partner and head of the family department, said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Amelia and Hannah to the team and look forward to working with them in the development of their careers.

“Testament must be paid to their hard work and dedication in having reached this vital milestone. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the wider family team who have, and will continue to, mentor and coach Amelia and Hannah as they begin their careers.”

Hannah said: “I love working in family law because every family, and therefore client situation, is different. I take the time to understand their needs and requirements to ensure I give them what they really need.

“The work is always interesting and there is nothing better than seeing the difference you have directly made to someone’s life.”

Amelia said: “I am thrilled to be moving into the next stage of my career with Goughs. My work in the Family Department is varied and engaging and I love that no two days are the same.

“There are a great range of opportunities to get involved with within the firm and I am proud to be part of such a friendly and supportive team that goes above and beyond for their clients which is the type of lawyer I aspire to be.”

Emilie said: “I enjoy working in private client law as it puts me in a position where I am able to help clients and sometimes through difficult times. Each day is varied and no two matters are the same.”

Goughs Solicitors also welcomes three new trainees this autumn as the firm continues to grow and welcome young and emerging legal talent.
