Goughs makes new appointment in commercial property team

Wiltshire law firm Goughs has appointed Helen Gate as an associate in its commercial property team.

Helen specialises in leasehold work, dealing with commercial property and how it is leased and set up for businesses.

Helen, has 23 years experience in law, began her career path in the Women’s Royal Naval Service, part of the Royal Navy, and later worked as a commercial property lawyer with the Ministry of Defence.

She has worked in a number of high-profile law firms in the Bristol area and was also a legal advisor to mobile network provider Orange, where she dealt with the infrastructure roll-out for 3G and later assisted with Orange’s retail portfolio of shops across the UK.

“To me, clients are the most important part of my job,” said Helen.

“One size certainly does not fit all in this industry, and it is crucial to grasp at the earliest stages the specific needs of the client, whether they be individual or corporate, and tailor advice accordingly, navigating them safely through any complex issues to completion.”

Goughs has offices in Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Melksham, and Trowbridge.
