UK Top 50 law firm Birketts has welcomed the 100th colleague to its Bristol office.

Charlotte Daintith has joined the firm’s family team as a solicitor, less than two years after Birketts opened its South West operation.

Charlotte’s arrival means that Birketts’ South West headcount has grown by 567 per cent since its inception, with appointments to the firm in the region maintaining a strong pace.

Since the beginning of September 2026, Birketts’ Bristol office has also seen the following appointments bolster the firm’s South West expertise:

Liam O’Connor, associate, corporate
Adam Turner, legal director, corporate
Claire Halle-Smith, legal director, commercial and technology – data protection
Shavaun Womersley, associate, family
Bridget Sanger, senior associate, regulatory and corporate defence

Deborah Carrivick, partner and head of office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charlotte as the 100th colleague in our Bristol office.

“Her expertise, alongside the breadth of experience brought by our other recent joiners, further strengthens the support we can offer clients in the city across the South West.

“The phenomenal growth we have seen since opening in 2024 is testament to the hard work of all who have joined and the unique, supportive culture we have built, that people are keen to be part of.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to be part of Birketts’ Bristol journey, and there is so much more to come.”
