Law firm Forrester Sylvester Mackett appoints new equity partner
Swindon solicitor Rachel Saunders has been appointed as an equity partner at Wiltshire law firm Forrester Sylvester Mackett.
Rachel joined the firm in 2014 and has specialised in private client work since qualifying in 2004.
She has held head of department responsibility for private client for a number of years and has recently become head of department for Court of Protection.
Rachel is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
Out of the office Rachel is a busy mum but in the small amount of spare time available she enjoys sewing and making all sorts of things for her children and her home. On her days off she loves to wander around National Trust properties and gardens with her family.
“It’s lovely to be recognised by the partners and to be welcomed to the firm as an equity partner,” said Rachel.
“I have a great deal of respect for the firm and the other partners and feel fortunate to be invited. I am proud of the firm that FSM is and of our conscientious and loyal staff. I feel confident that FSM has a promising future.”
Senior partner, Michael Cavalla said: “We are delighted to have appointed Rachel as an Equity Partner. Rachel has been with us for some years now and has proved herself to be a real asset to the firm. We have the highest regard for her and congratulate her on this well-deserved appointment.”
Rachel joins six other equity partners at the firm: Michael Cavalla (senior partner) Matthew Paterson, Jonathan Watts, John Riley, Jeff Williams, and Jonathan Frayling. There are also three salaried partners: Jane Healey, Steward Donald, and Emily Goringe.
FSM has offices in Chippenham, Malmesbury, Swindon, Trowbridge, Warminster, and Frome.
