CBRE grows Bristol and South West team

Commercial real estate firm CBRE has strengthened its development advisory and residential land capabilities in Bristol and the South West with new appointments.

Nic Rumble, who joins as senior director, brings over eight years of director-level experience from JLL, where he specialised in residential development.

Also joining the team is Martha Freer, who brings expertise in development financial viability and appraisals.

Despite continued economic headwinds, the expanded team is currently advising a mix of private and public sector clients across the sphere of residential “living” sectors, including Build‑to‑Rent (BTR), Single Family Rental (SFR), Co‑living, Purpose‑Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and strategic land, reflecting continued investor and developer interest in the region.

The growth of the development team coincides with CBRE’s move into its new Bristol office at EQ which sits alongside Bristol’s major Temple Quarter regeneration project, underlining the firm’s continued investment in the city and wider South West market.

The team are engaged with a mix of clients in supporting the long-term regeneration of Bristol Temple Quarter.
