Canons Wharf appoints project manager and marketer

The owners of the iconic Canons Wharf building in Bristol have appointed commercial real estate specialists CBRE Bristol to two roles.

Turner & Townsend, a CBRE business, has been appointed as project manager, with the role led by senior director, Charlotte Acreman and associate director, Daniel Kiernan.

Meanwhile, Richard Kidd, senior director, and Alex Riddell, director, are leading CBRE’s office agency mandate, marketing the building to prospective occupiers ahead of works commencing on site.

Planning permission and listed building consent for the redevelopment were recently secured, with works expected to begin on site in Q3 2026.

Once complete, Canons Wharf will deliver 169,573 sq ft of Grade A workspace across the site’s iconic Circle, Crescent and Link buildings, alongside a curated amenity offer including a coffee house/all-day brasserie, restaurants overlooking the Harbourside, a rooftop events space and a 208-person auditorium.

Pre-leasing is now available, with suites from 15,152 sq ft up to 169,573 sq ft.

“Canons Wharf is a truly landmark scheme for Bristol and one of the most exciting regeneration projects currently underway in the city,” said Charlotte.

“With its Harbourside location, heritage significance and ambitious vision for the future, it represents a rare opportunity to help shape the next chapter of one of Bristol’s most recognisable commercial buildings.

“We’re delighted to be supporting Kinrise and MF&P across multiple service lines as the project moves into delivery. Securing planning and listed building consent is a major milestone, and we’re looking forward to playing a key role in transforming Canons Wharf into a best-in-class workspace and leisure destination for Bristol.”

Kilian Kleine, Investment Director & Head of Development, Kinrise, which is the joint developer with Mactaggart Family & Partners, said: “CBRE and Turner & Townsend have brought significant expertise, insight and commitment to the project from day one.

“Having access to specialist support across project management and office agency under one roof has been hugely valuable in helping us progress a complex and ambitious redevelopment.

“With planning now secured, we’re excited to move into the next phase and continue working together to bring our vision for Canons Wharf to life.”
