Purpol Marketing hits jackpot at Las Vegas awards

Marketing expert Denise O’Leary of Chippenham-based Purpol Marketing hit gold, silver, and bronze at the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service held in Las Vegas.

Denise, who was last year awarded an MBE for services to the construction sector, picked up gold in the Business Development Achievement of the Year – Media & Entertainment Industries category.

The award was made in recognition of the provision of remote digital internships addressing the Covid-19 challenge and how the company had developed the content using gamification to increase audience uptake.

Denise also brought home five silver awards and a bronze from the competition, considered the world’s top honours for customer service, contact centre, business development and sales professionals.

Winners were announced during a gala event attended by more than 400 professionals from around the world at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Friday, March 3.

“To be awarded as a seven-times winner by the most prestigious awards for business development and sales in the world is both humbling and amazing,” said Denise.

“To gain recognition in business development, our core area is incredible, but we were thrilled to also be recognised within the Leadership or Management Training Practice and Best Use of Thought Leadership in Business Development categories as well.

“To be identified in the same categories as IBM and ServiceNow amongst others is just phenomenal.”
