Accountancy firm Albert Goodman celebrates a record-breaking year
South West accountancy firm Albert Goodman has reported another strong year of growth, with the business celebrating a record-breaking FY25.
The Taunton-headquartered firm, which started the year with the opening of its new premises in Yeovil, has achieved 11 per cent revenue growth in the last 12 months.
Albert Goodman has also received an uptick in new clients, with a 25 per cent increase in new business, equating to £4.5 million in acquired revenue.
Elsewhere, the firm has seen additional growth in its financial planning team – which advises both individuals and businesses on tax reforms, estate planning, pensions and investment opportunities – with revenue increasing by 22 per cent, as more clients seek expert advice amid turbulent economic times.
Internally, Albert Goodman has further bolstered its expertise, with a number of senior hires brought in across its audit, business development, forensic accounting and corporate finance divisions.
Most recently, the firm announced the promotions of three of its home-grown directors – Robin Clempson, Tom Stone and Kelly Pinder – to partner, each having contributed to Albert Goodman’s success for over a decade.
Iain McVicar, managing partner at Albert Goodman, commented: “The last 12 months have been a particularly strong period for the firm, and one that reflects the skill, passion and dedication of each and every person at Albert Goodman.
“Our expertise as accountants and financial planners is becoming all the more important, and as a proudly independent firm, I’m proud of the positive and lasting impact Albert Goodman continues to have on both new and existing clients.”
Alongside its commercial success, Albert Goodman continues to play a key role in supporting its local community.
The firm this year announced a headline, multi-year partnership with iconic the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
Iain added: “Having been in business for over 150 years, we truly know the importance and value of supporting what matters to our local communities.
“Whether that’s partnering with iconic events in the region, or providing employment and development opportunities for the next generation, we will continue to support our communities across the
South West, and the firm’s continued growth puts us in a strong position to do so for years to come.”
Albert Goodman has offices in Taunton, Bristol, Weymouth, Weston-Super-Mare and Yeovil.
