Accountancy firm Albert Goodman celebrates another strong financial year
South West accountancy firm Albert Goodman has reported another strong year of growth, with the business celebrating a record-breaking FY26 and continuing to invest in both its people and the communities it serves.
The firm, which has offices in Bristol, achieved a 20 per cent revenue increase, driven by high levels of client retention and growth across key service lines.
Within its financial planning team, which advises both individuals and businesses on tax reforms, estate planning, pensions and investment opportunities, the firm recorded a 13% increase in new business wins, as more clients seek trusted, independent advice to help navigate an increasingly complex economic landscape.
The firm also strengthened its tax advisory capabilities and expanded its presence across the region through a number of senior appointments. Lauren James was promoted to personal tax partner, while Oli Bolam and Tom Butt both joined the firm as senior managers in the corporate tax team.
Robin Clempson, partner at Albert Goodman, commented: “FY26 has been another exceptional year for the firm and one that reflects the dedication, expertise and commitment of our people. While the growth itself is something we’re incredibly proud of, what stands out most is the trust our clients continue to place in us year after year.’
“Strong client retention has been a key driver of our performance, and that is only possible because of the relationships our teams build and the quality of advice they deliver. We remain committed to providing the expert, personal service our clients value, while continuing to invest in the people and capabilities to support them.”
Albert Goodman also continues to play a key role in supporting local communities. In June, it launched the Albert Goodman Foundation, which will enable the firm to provide more sustained support across the South West.
The foundation will work with a wide range of charitable and community-led initiatives, with a particular focus on projects that promote education, social mobility and opportunities for young people.
By prioritising local causes and offering flexible grants to charities, community interest companies and other non-profit organisations, it aims to create meaningful impact where it is needed most.
