CBRE to relocate Bristol team to EQ
Property consultancy CBRE is to relocate its South West and Wales team to 7,500 sq ft of office space at EQ in Bristol.
The firm, which has seen recent headcount almost double from 50 to more than 90, will relocate from its Clifton offices.
Tom Morris, managing director, Midlands and South, CBRE, said: “This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for our Bristol team.
“The EQ development’s outstanding sustainability credentials and leading amenities align perfectly with what our people are seeking from a workplace.
“Bringing our team together in such an innovative space will enhance our workplace experience, help us attract and retain best-in-class talent, and ensure we can continue to offer and grow our exceptional client service offer.
“This is an exciting time for the city of Bristol, and we’re excited to be growing alongside it. We’re a people-first business, and the EQ building gives us the perfect location to collaborate with our clients and build our network.
“Our team in the South West has nearly doubled in the last five years, so it was only right that we relocated to an office that meets the ambitions of our growing team.”
CBRE’s Project Management team will be managing the fit out of the workspace. The move is expected to take place in Q2 2025.
Paul Richardson, investment manager at CEG, said: “EQ is exceptional as the team challenged every idea and detail through its design and construction. It was designed for operational energy performance far before NABERS set the industry benchmark.
“From façade design to water conservation, occupant wellbeing to sustainable travel, it exceeds expectations.
“This, coupled with the great location and fantastic wealth of amenities continues to attract the highest calibre tenants and we are delighted to welcome CBRE to EQ’s thriving business community.”
