SA Group staff to tackle ultra marathon in aid of Armed Forces charity

Staff from Trowbridge-based cyber security and business management consultancy SA Group are to tackle the Atlantic Coast Ultra Marathon charity fundraiser for the second year running.

The three-day challenge, which takes place from Friday, October 4 to Sunday, October 6, starts near Padstow, goes through Perranporth and finishes at Land’s End on the final day.

The company will be entering a team of walkers and runners across the three days to raise money and awareness for SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity, which assists more than 66,000 people every year.

Since SA Group began in 2009 one of the company’s main values includes actively supporting military personnel and veterans.

The company is a proud supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant and has been awarded Gold in the Employer Recognition Scheme for its ongoing commitment.

Steve Jackson, CEO and founder of SA Group said: “We are delighted to participate in this challenge for the second year running.

“It’s great for team building within the company and we are supporting a very worthy cause in SSAFA who do incredible work in helping those who are serving and their families.”
