Law firm Wansbroughs appoints new partner to agriculture team
Wiltshire law firm Wansbroughs has appointed Gavin Smith to its agriculture & landed estates team.
The Devizes-based firm says the strategic hire reinforces its commitment to providing expert legal support to farmers, landowners and rural businesses, further expanding its presence in the sector.
Having previously worked at firms in London, Cheltenham and Bath including most recently at a prestigious, Tier 1 Legal 500 law firm in agriculture and estates, Gavin brings extensive experience to his new role of partner.
He is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500 and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which is seen as a mark of distinction in the profession.
Gavin will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s high net worth clients in the preparation of tax-efficient wills and business lasting power of attorneys, the preparation of partnership agreements, advising on the use of trusts and gifts, and long-term succession planning.
