Freeths continues to expand corporate offering in Bristol with strategic hire
Law firm Freeths has strengthened its corporate finance team in Bristol with the appointment of managing associate Edward Chapman, who joins from Ince.
With more than 12 years’ legal experience supporting a wide range of businesses nationally and particularly in the South West region. Ed advises clients on private M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring along with day-to-day business affairs and corporate governance.
He has specific expertise acting for SMEs, owner-managed businesses and shareholders across sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, energy, professional services and technology.
Having worked in the USA and Cyprus Ed is also a published thought leader on blockchain. He joins the 90-strong national corporate team at Freeths and will be working alongside the established team in Bristol advising international groups, SMEs, founders and financial sponsors.
At Freeths, Ed will work alongside leading corporate lawyers Emily Settle, Ben Moylan, Lottie Hugo, Charlotte Hartwright and Fatima Hammad. The team is part of the wider Bristol office which acts for high profile clients across the private client, real estate, energy and environment market.
