New accountancy training centre to open in Wiltshire

A new accountancy training centre is opening in Wiltshire, offering businesses and individuals the chance to perfect their bookkeeping software skills.

The Gooding Training Academy will be led by experts from Gooding Accounts and builds on the firm’s successful internal training programme, which has been training novice accountants since 2017.

Eventually, the centre will expand to offer complete accountancy training including AAT courses and qualifications Gooding Accounts office in Trowbridge.

Apprentices from the firm will receive their accountancy training and mentoring via the Academy under the tutelage of academy tutors, who all still work in practice allowing them to apply real-world experiences to help candidates develop knowledge relevant to today’s workplace.

Gooding Accounts Apprentice and GT Academy candidate, Elfie, who has recently been tutored to a 98 per cent exam result, said: “The tutor’s extensive knowledge means he was always able to resolve any questions.

“The course content was delivered in a calm and relaxed teaching environment, which takes away some of the stresses of learning and has allowed me to achieve such great results so quickly.”
