Freeths expands to new Bristol office in landmark building
Law firm Freeths is moving to larger premises in Bristol – taking 8,000 sq ft of space at the landmark Aurora building at Finzels Reach in Redcliffe.
The relocation follows a record of continued growth for the 50+ strong office, which has recorded an increase in revenue of 51 per cent on the previous year and was also recently named Law Firm of the Year at the Bristol Law Society Awards 2023.
The firm said a key consideration when choosing Freeths’ new home in Bristol was Aurora’s focus on sustainability. The building recently set new benchmarks for sustainability by achieving BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and LEED ‘Gold Standard’ when it was constructed.
The premium new space is designed to support Freeths’ culture of promoting wellbeing alongside enhancing staff and client experiences by offering state-of-the-art workplace technology, co-working spaces and social areas.
Managing partner of Freeths Bristol, Adam Watson, said: “We will be excited to move to our new home at Aurora in the New Year.
“The move is another step forward in our continued growth since we opened in 2019 and is a testament to the hard work of everyone that has joined our team and our great clients. We continue to grow our Bristol offering and the move will give us a platform to do so.”
It comes after year-on-year prosperity for the firm with ongoing increased employee retention, new lateral hires, heightened client portfolios and recently announcing financial results for 2022/23, revealing a national turnover up by 14.9 per cent to £129 million.
Freeths attribute the continued success to the focus on its people and clients, hiring and nurturing the best talent alongside a strong client base.
Freeths was advised by Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord was advised by Alder King. Freeths’ fit out will be undertaken by the TSK Group Limited.
