Restaurant snaps up former photography studio

Commercial property agent Kilpatrick & Co has successfully let Unit 3, 138-139 Victoria Road, Swindon – a former photographer’s studio – as storage for a well-established and successful Old Town restaurant.

Located half way along Victoria Road the property forms part of Victoria Centre, a two-storey building which is also home to Swindon Tuition Centre and S.T. Richings Antique Clock Repairs.

Kilpatrick & Co’s office manager, Daniel Pitt said: “We were delighted that there was such strong interest in Unit 3, 138-139 Victoria Road and were pleased to achieve a letting for another local business in Old Town who required storage.

“The property did have A1 retail use and we received a lot of interest from other small businesses requiring space to be used as either workshop or studio space. It is reassuring that, despite all the political and Brexit uncertainty, there are still many people with businesses needing space to grow and expand.”
