Chippenham Business Awards finalists revealed
The finalists in the Chippenham Business Awards have been revealed, and tickets for the awards ceremony have gone on sale.
Nominations – up 14 percent on last year – were whittled down to a shortlist by judges from title sponsor Awdry Bailey and Douglas along with category sponsors 24/7 Staffing, The Angel Hotel, Avagio IT and Platinum Mortgage Solutions and drinks reception sponsor Berkley Square.
“Some categories had so many worthy entries in that the decisions were exceptionally difficult,” said Kathryn Crosweller of competition organiser Chippenham Business Improvement District.
“Being put in a position where the standard is so high is on the one hand heart-breaking because each entry would have been a valid finalist and the judges didn’t want to disappoint anyone who had entered, but on the other hand wonderful because it shows the high calibre of entries and the achievements of so many diverse businesses across the town.”
Tom Paget of Awdry Bailey and Douglas said “Awdry Bailey and Douglas are very much looking forward to the Chippenham Business Awards 2018.
“The last awards ceremony was a tremendous success and we were privileged to spend the evening celebrating with many great businesses and individuals.
“With some fantastic entries, his year’s ceremony is set to be just as good, if not better.”
