Bristol’s innovative Anti Banquet to return in 2025

Bristol’s innovative Anti Banquet is to return in 2025, following a successful inaugural event in March this year.

The event sees the city’s businesses to purchase tables for their staff who wouldn’t usually attend snazzy corporate events.

And while the workers are enjoying the event, the bosses are asked to roll up their sleeves and get busy in the kitchen, under the command of 25 chefs including Michelin-starred chefs like Peter Sanchez Iglesias and Jude Kereama.

The debut saw 60 companies represented, and raised £117,000 for local food causes like Black Mothers Matter and Project Mama.

Organisers hope next year’s event will raise at least £100,000 for good causes.

“We’re calling on Bristol’s business community to step up, not just to enjoy a great evening, but to make a real difference,” said Josh Eggleton, co-founder of the event.

“Every pound raised supports local families, helping to ensure no one in our city has to go hungry.”

The event returns to Ashton Gate Stadium on Thursday, March 27.
