Crutches mountaineer to address Wiltshire firm’s anniversary celebration

The first person to climb to Mount Everest Base Camp on crutches will be the keynote speaker at an event organised to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Wiltshire IT firm Black Nova Designs.

Jamie McAnsh (pictured right), who has chronic regional pain syndrome, woke up one morning to find himself paralysed and since then he has dedicated his life to helping others overcome obstacles to achieve their goals in life or business.

“I’ve known Kyle and Danielle (Holmes) for a long time, and I see them as friends and colleagues,” said Jamie.

“I’m excited to be celebrating their company and the amazing milestone of reaching ten years in business. We all have challenges to overcome in life and business and I look forward to meeting so many people who wish to celebrate with them and to raise money for a worthy local charity.”

Danielle added: “It’s an honour to be able to book Jamie to come to our birthday bash – he’s so busy speaking across the UK and overseas. We had him in mind to come to the event from the very beginning because he is such as inspiration for myself and my husband.”

Black Nova Designs are a leading provider of web design, hosting, and IT, are hosting this special event to celebrate their 10-year anniversary in business. The team are based in Calne and work with companies all across the UK.

Founded by Kyle and Danielle Holmes in April 2015, the company has grown into a trusted technology partner, supports over a thousand clients across many industries.

Their birthday bash will raise money for Swindon-based charity, Best Mates, which supports people in crisis who need someone to walk alongside them in times of trouble.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 21 at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon and tickets cost £75 per person.

There are additional ticket options for businesses at £90, where they can bring a display banner, and businesses can also sponsor a table of ten for £850. To book at ticket visit https://events.blacknovadesigns.co.uk
