Tech advisory firm appoints new marketing and events lead

IT and technology advisory business Nebula IT has promoted former apprentice Chloe Ireton to the role of marketing and events lead.

Chloe first joined Bristol-based Nebula IT in January 2024 as an apprentice marketing and events assistant from Pro Apprenticeships, an apprenticeship provider that matches talent with businesses.

Chris Pottrell, founder and managing director of Nebula IT, said Chloe has become an important member of the team and went above and beyond what was expected of her, during her apprenticeship.

In just under two years at the business, Chloe has helped Nebula to bring new services to market such as Nebula Labs, a pioneering new platform designed to help businesses safely explore, test, and adopt artificial intelligence.

She has also worked on the marketing for its cyber security offering and helped to organise its Wake the Robots event, which brought together over 70 business leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by AI.

“I am proud to have completed my apprenticeship, and I am looking forward to continuing to play a role in delivering on the businesses vision for the future, which includes our evolution to a service led IT and technology provider that works strategically with its customers to ensure they are leading the pack, when it comes to AI, cyber security and their IT infrastructure,” said Chloe.

Chris said: “From the start, Chloe has worked exceptionally hard to understand the business and adds value every day, providing a calm and considered approach to our marketing and events. I expect her to continue progressing through the company.”

Apprentices provide the bedrock of the business and Nebula work with Pro Apprenticeships to regularly create opportunities for talented people to forge a career in the sector.

Carina Bush, founder and CEO of Pro Apprenticeships, said: “Apprentices can transform businesses and businesses can transform the lives of apprentices.

“Nebula gets it and provides an environment where talented people can come and realise their ambition. Chloe is an example of that, and I am happy to see that she has achieved a promotion and a new role.”
