Two new faces add sparkle to Systemagic team

Two new recruits have joined the team at IT company Systemagic, which provides professional IT business support to companies across the region.

Ben Pepper, 24, has joined as an IT technician who learned his trade in the Royal Air Force.

His new role is a far cry from his military role providing IT support for troops in the field of combat in Afghanistan and supporting soldiers at London 2012.

He said: “I’m enjoying my new role and am settling in to the change of pace. I’m learning the ropes and hope to develop my career here at Systemagic.”

Richard Harvey (35) has joined Systemagic as a senior IT technician after working in the insurance industry for many years specialising in security and anti-virus infrastructure.

Rich and Ben take the team at Systemagic to ten. James Eades, managing director, said: “It’s been fantastic for us to be able to recruit two experienced IT professionals into the team. We’ve been year on year and will be adding more members to our team in the coming months to support new services we will be offering.”

Systemagic has been part of the local business community in Wiltshire and Bath for 16 years. It provides IT support and maintenance for clients as well as broadband and internet connectivity, cloud services including online back-up and hosted exchange. Its MD James Eades lives with his family in Trowbridge and is the founder of Wiltshire Bikers – a group with around 3,000 members.

In 2014 the company won the Micro Employer of the Year title in the Bristol and Bath Apprentice Awards. The honour recognised the company’s commitment to employing apprentices.
