Systemagic certified as a Great Place to Work as it takes on new staff

Bradford on Avon-based IT support provider Systemagic has been certified as a Great Place to Work in an independent audit.

Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, built on the belief that great employee experiences are better for people, for business and for the world.

As part of the certification process, Systemagic employees completed an anonymised Trust Index employee survey, which asked questions about Systemagic’s management, employee rewards, recognition and training opportunities.

Using over 30 years of research, Systemagic’s results were compared against industry benchmarks and confirmed that employees have a consistent experience.

In addition to the employee survey, GPTW reviewed the working culture at Systemagic and found it to be a fun, engaging, psychologically and mentally healthy place to work.

Fiona Major, operations director said: “We’re over the moon to be externally recognised as a great place to work. As a people-focused business, we’re passionate about providing the best service to our customers and employee experience to our staff.”

It comes as no surprise that Systemagic has been certified a ‘Great Place to Work, as their average employee retention is six years, compared to the industry average of 19 months.

James Eades, managing director commented: “We’re very fortunate to have such a long average employee retention at Systemagic. In fact, our field technician, Will, is celebrating 10 years with us this month”.

Systemagic’s accreditation couldn’t come at a better time as the IT support provider takes on four brand new team members.

Imogen Hewitt joins as helpdesk co-ordinator, Joe Timmins as sales administrator, Jody Anza as finance manager and Ronan Gillick as a Level 3 IT apprentice.

The addition of these four roles takes the headcount at Systemagic to 19.
