Outsourcing agency Get Ahead welcomes new regional director for Wiltshire
Outsourcing agency Get Ahead has appointed Lisa Middleton as its new regional director for Wiltshire, Dorset and East Hampshire to strengthen its presence in the south.
After graduating with a degree in Business & Finance, Lisa enjoyed a successful marketing career. Specialising in business-to-business marketing, she worked for major global companies, including Ernst & Young, Computacenter, and PXP Financial.
Lisa said: “Marketing is such a dynamic industry which is constantly evolving. The corporate world suited me well for many years, and I am proud to have worked on some high-profile projects and campaigns. But an accident in 2021 caused me to reassess what I wanted from working life. The time was right to do something different.
While researching flexible working opportunities, I watched a webinar with Get Ahead founder Rebecca Newenham and was impressed by her passion for her business and flexible working. Becoming a regional director with Get Ahead felt like the perfect opportunity to use my current marketing and business skills in a completely new and exciting way.”
Over the next few months, Lisa looks forward to meeting businesses across Wiltshire. Lisa added, “I can’t wait to get out and connect with local businesses. Despite some of the current economic challenges, I know this area has many businesses with ambitious growth plans but not enough people or hours in the day to turn those plans into action. The Get Ahead team can help them to achieve their goals.”
Rebecca Newenham added: “From our first meeting, I could see that Lisa could be a great fit for our team. With significant B2B marketing experience, she understands the challenges companies face and how to provide solutions.
With regional directors in Berkshire, East Midlands, Essex, Harrogate, Leeds, North Hampshire, Oxford, Suffolk, Surrey, York and a global presence in the Republic of Ireland and Australia, we are well-placed to support growing businesses. I am proud to lead our vibrant team of over 80 highly skilled virtual business experts and champion flexible working.”
