New appointments at PKF Francis Clark brings headcount to 100

PKF Francis Clark’s Bristol office is now home to a 100-strong team of chartered accountants and tax advisers, after welcoming 11 new trainees.

The growing team has been boosted by 25 new starters in the past year, including recent senior hires such as business advisory director Carmelo Lattuca and audit senior manager Kyle Evett. The latest recruits are embarking on AAT and ACA accounting apprenticeships with the firm.

Paul Bray, partner and head of PKF Francis Clark’s Bristol office, said: “It’s always a pleasure to welcome our new trainees, and this year it’s extra special as they have helped us reach this milestone. Having 100 colleagues here in Bristol is something to celebrate, but this is just the start.

“Our growth since we opened this office just over six years ago has exceeded my expectations. Clients in Bristol and the surrounding area have really embraced us as a refreshing alternative, but at the same time we bring a long track record as the South West’s largest independent chartered accountancy firm.

“This is reflected across all our services, from audit and assurance to business advisory, corporate finance, restructuring and tax. We see plenty of opportunity to continue growing, with so many businesses looking for expert advice and a fresh perspective to support their growth ambitions.”

PKF Francis Clark has been ranked among the UK’s Best Workplaces by workplace culture experts Great Place to Work for three years running. The firm is a top 10 large employer in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women rankings, as well as featuring in the Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers.

The firm’s Bristol office, in Victoria Street, is headed by a 13-strong leadership team, made up of nine partners and four directors. Colleagues make a positive impact on the local community through volunteering days and fundraising for their office charity of the year, Gympanzees.

Paul said: “I’m proud of how far we’ve come in a short space of time and the calibre of people who have joined us. There’s a vibrant team spirit which makes this an attractive place to work.

“It’s an exciting time as we embark on the next phase of our growth plans. As well as growing our own talent, we’re continuing to recruit experienced advisers with a breadth of knowledge and strong client relationship skills.”
