Two new team members join Systemagic

Two new faces have joined the growing team at Systemagic as the IT company which works across Wiltshire continues to grow.

Rebecca Land (22), is the marketing officer, managing the company’s social media, newsletters and events. It’s her first job after graduating from the University of Gloucestershire last year and she’s spent several months travelling in Asia. S

Rebecca said: “This is a great team to work with. It’s a brand new role for the business and it’s exciting to be able to be involved in shaping the marketing activities from the start. No two days are the same so there’s lots of variety. I enjoy sharing the company’s news and achievements on a daily basis.”

Rhys King (19) is the new apprentice at Systemagic – a company known for supporting and nurturing young talent. It has employed apprentices for the last eight years. Recently Systemagic won the Micro Employer of the Year title in the Somerset Apprenticeship Awards, and also won a similar award in the Bristol and Bath area in 2014.

Rhys said: “So far my apprenticeship has been really enjoyable. Everyone at Systemagic has made me feel comfortable straight away when joining and allowed me to fit in easily. The whole team is always ready to offer their help and guidance.”

Rhys is studying for an Extended Diploma in IT and as well as working at Systemagic, attends regular IT training in Bristol.

MD James said: “It’s fantastic to be able to offer opportunities to both Rebecca and Rhys. Our plan is to continue to grow as a team over the coming months and by investing in new talent we’ll be able to offer our clients an even better and more responsive service.”
