National Self Build & Renovation Centre shakes off Covid to stage three-day event
The Swindon-based National Self Build & Renovation Centre is emerging from Covid restrictions by hosting its biggest event in two years.
The National Self Build & Renovation Show will return to the award-winning Self Build Visitor Centre From Friday 28 to Sunday 30 January.
With demand for better quality housing at an all-time high, and covid restrictions easing, the team at the NSBRC are anticipating a strong attendance as people look to discover the benefits of self-building, or progress ongoing home projects.
The show offers a comprehensive lineup of free seminars, case studies and panel discussions, plus an unrivalled lineup of building experts, on hand to share their advice. It really is a ‘must-attend’ event for anyone thinking about extending their home, renovating a tired property or finding a plot and building a brand new home.
The team have put together a lineup for the show that’s educational, inspiring and relaxing for visitors, and the NSBRC is registered with Visit England as a ‘We’re good to go’ venue, with the 67,000 sq ft venue offering a spacious environment with all the additional cleaning measures you’d expect.
Alongside the timetable of talks, visitors can join guided educational tours of the centre’s unique exhibits and the NSBRC has over 200 exhibitors displaying the latest building products and services.
Harvey Fremlin, managing director, said: “We are so happy to be able to return to our full-scale, three-day shows.
“During the past two years, we have successfully delivered many covid-secure events, but we have worked hard to make this our best yet.
“We know interest in homes is very high, and with the launch of the new government-backed ‘Help to Build’ scheme, making self-built homes more accessible than ever, we’re anticipating a really good attendance.”
Show highlights include:
- Guided educational tours of the NSBRC’s fantastic life-size exhibits
- Over 200 Exhibitors
- Live panel debates including ‘Question Time’
- Free Self Build Course taster sessions
- 1:1 Expert Advice
