Entrepreneur publishes book on selling your business
A new book about selling your business is being published later this month.
The Exit Roadmap is written by Swindon entrepreneur Chris Spratling, founder of business growth experts Chalkhill Blue.
Research from the Exit Planning Institute suggests that only 20 to 30 per cent of businesses that go to market actually sell.
Chris – a strategic mergers and acquisitions professional and a trusted business coach having owned, bought, and sold multiple seven-figure businesses himself – aims to give business owners the tool they need to exit profitably.
The book explores the best time to sell a business, what buyers are looking for, and how to value a company. It also aims to demystify the sale process itself.
“Considering the extensive time, energy and capital founders invest in building their businesses, securing a profitable sale should be the utmost priority,” says Chris.
“Selling a business is never solely a financial decision. This deeply personal and professional milestone shapes the future of both the business owner and their employees. The Exit Roadmap is the ultimate guide to securing a successful sale with long-term strategic planning.”
The Exit Roadmap is available from booksellers from May 14.
