Old Mill joins Kinbrook in “strategic combination”

South west accountancy firm Old Mill has joined accounting, wealth management, legal and professional advisory services group Kinbrook in what the parties are describing as a “strategic combination”.

Old Mill will be the Kinbrook Group’s “anchor in the South West” -serving clients from its five offices in the region.

The arrangement includes Old Mill’s outsourced finance division Brook Financial.

Both Old Mill and Brook Financial will continue to operate under their respective brands, maintaining leadership, client relationships, and team structures.

As part of Kinbrook, they will benefit from national infrastructure, shared innovation, group-wide collaboration, and access to broader expertise – enhancing their ability to support and develop their people and deliver outstanding results and lasting value to their clients.

“Joining Kinbrook marks an important step in our journey – one that enables us to continue delivering the personal, long-standing service our clients value, while investing more in our people and the future,” said Mark Neath, CEO of Old Mill.

“The partnership strengthens our ability to grow with purpose, broaden our services, and collaborate with like-minded firms. We’re proud to be Kinbrook’s South West hub and excited about the next chapter for Old Mill and Brook Financial.”

“Old Mill is an outstanding business with deep regional roots and a clear vision for the future,” said Ian Symes, CEO of Kinbrook Group.

“Their team shares Kinbrook’s commitment to people, excellence and long-term client relationships. This partnership marks a key moment for the group as we establish a strong presence in the South West and continue to grow with firms that lead in their regions.”

Old Mill has offices in Chippenham, Exeter, Yeovil, Wells, and Ilminster.
