Growing IT company celebrates 100th client with new office and apprentice

A growing IT firm that started in Marlborough under two years ago has moved to larger premises and taken on an apprentice after securing its 100th client.

JP IT Solutions was founded by Jason Parrington, who had a 20 year background in IT with an agricultural firm.

After growing at Marlborough Business Hub, Jason this week moved to new premises just over the Berkshire border, in Hungerford, where a new apprentice joined him on the day of the big move.

“The company has performed well in its first two years, taking on 100 clients, including more than 30 SMEs in the Marlborough and Swindon areas. Moving to Hungerford will allow me to extend into West Berkshire too,” said Jason.

Joining Jason in his expansion is Simon McCarthy (21), who is working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Simon will spend alternate weeks in the business and at college in his hometown of Swindon.

“Apprenticeships are a great way of gaining experience,” said Simon. “You learn the theory in the classroom, then apply it in the workplace”

JP IT offers a range of services from networks and cloud computing to email management and hosted telephony. For more information log on to www.jpitsolutions.co.uk
