Turnover up at Excalibur despite challenging conditions
Turnover at communications and IT solutions provider Excalibur increased by one percent to £9.3 million, despite challenging trading conditions.
Interim results for 2019 to 2020 published by the Swindon-based firm show underlying profit remained the same, at £1.6 million.
IT and Fixed Line business revenues grew by 10 percent from £4 million to £4.4 million over the period.
The mobile side of the business saw revenues decrease by four percent, largely due to the reduction in international travel by customers during the global Coronavirus pandemic.
In October, the final stage of the management buyout, which initially took place in April 2018, was completed.
The company’s business, service and investment in people achievements have also been recognised by a number of awards including Top 100 Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For 2020, Vodafone Regional Partner of the Year 2020, FSB South West Wellness Award 2020, and the Go Tech 2019 Award for IT and Telecoms Support.
