West SMEs offered grants to instal rooftop solar panels
SMEs in the West of England are being offered grants to install solar panels on the roofs of warehouses, factories, and larger offices.
The £50,000 grants being offered by the West of England Combined Authority are also available to charities in the mayoral region.
The scheme is part of metro mayor Dan Norris’s plan to help eco-conscious firms cut their greenhouse gas emissions while easing the cost of energy bills – a win-win for companies, and the planet.
“The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority which I lead has a relentless focus on helping local firms and charities to save carbon and cut bills,” said the mayor.
“This is even more important as the cost-of-doing-business crisis rages on.”
