Bristol-based Loungers opens latest Cosy Club in Oxford
Bristol-based hospitality group Loungers has opened a Cosy Club restaurant in Oxford – its 36th site under the brand name and 240th overall.
Located on Cornmarket Street, the bar/restaurant is one of the firm’s biggest to date, with a large bar and restaurant area, private bar, and party room.
Last week the firm told investors revenues had jumped by a fifth to £149.6 million in the first half of the financial year – buoyed by openings of 28 Lounge cafes, Cosy Club restaurants, and Brightside roadside diners.
The chain started life 22 years ago with a single cafe in Bedminster, Bristol. The group has ambitions to open 600 branches across the UK.
