Wiltshire charity celebrates 18th anniversary

Wiltshire charity People Against Poverty – the parent organisation of fundraising and networking group Business Against Poverty – celebrates its 18th anniversary next month.

The charity will be celebrating at a family fun day at Frome Town FC on Sunday, July 4 between 1.30pm and 5pm.

Kicking off the celebrations will be personal assistant and People against Poverty member Sara Coffield from Graceful Solutions who, as Sara Vian (pictured), is a singer-songwriter with a ‘vintage folk blues’ album under her belt.

The #BA11 event – part of Frome Festival 2021 – will feature family fun day favourites including a bouncy castle and food and drinks.

People Against Poverty CEO Val Huxley and co-founder Bill Huxley will be manning a stall at the event, along with marketing and fundraising manager Claire Rowlands.

People Against Poverty delivers projects in Haiti, Romania, Nepal, Malawi, Tanzania, Indian and – more recently – the UK to lift children and families out of poverty.
