Business centre names Ipsum as its charity of the year
A Swindon business centre has announced that it will support Ipsum, the Swindon-based mental health and wellbeing charity, as its charity of the year.
The partnership will see the Nexus team, caféNexus customers, and more than 50 business centre clients join forces to raise funds through a packed calendar of events and initiatives throughout the year.
Fundraising activities will include raffles, bake-offs, car boot sales, car washing events, and a variety of community-focused activities designed to bring people together while raising vital funds for Ipsum’s work.
The year-long initiative began with the launch of the Ipsum Art Display at Nexus Business Centre this week.
Ipsum clients, ranging across all ages and abilities, will contribute more than 100 pieces of original artwork, forming a vibrant and inspiring exhibition trail.
Initially showcased on the first floor of the business centre, the exhibition is expected to expand across all four floors as more artwork is added.
The display will be open to the public Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and will also be enjoyed by centre businesses and caféNexus customers.
All artwork will be available for purchase via the Ipsum website, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to the charity to support its essential mental health and wellbeing services.
Ipsum provides accessible mental health, wellbeing, and creative therapy services to people across Swindon and the surrounding area.
Through counselling, art therapy, music therapy, and community programmes, the charity supports individuals of all ages in building resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
