Summit for climate-friendly firms to be held in Swindon
A summit for environmentally-conscious firms is to be held in Swindon this month, following an inaugural event in Trowbridge last year.
Wiltshire Council hosted the first Climate and Environment Summit with Wiltshire Climate Alliance at County Hall in May 2025.
Now, businesses are being invited to find out more about shrinking their carbon footprint at the Greener Business Day in Swindon on Friday, May 22.
Designed to support Swindon and Wiltshire businesses on their decarbonisation journey, the event will feature expert panels, practical workshops, and exhibitors.
Companies represented at the event will include Zurich, Nationwide, Nanogreen, Wiltshire Energy, Thermo Fisher, Sinewave, and Zurich.
Topics will include:
- Success stories across Swindon
- Accelerating local sustainability through public-private projects
- Clean energy
- Creating green offerings for customers
- Clean business for the future
The keynote speech will be delivered by North Swindon MP Will Stone.
The event will be held at Workshed in Swindon from 9.30am to 4.10pm.
