WestSpring IT nominated for Best Business in the South West title
Tech solutions company WestSpring IT has been shortlisted for the Best Business in the South West 2025.
The team’s nomination was recently revealed as part of the South West Business and Community Awards which take place annually and winners will be announced next month.
The Bristol-based firm recently announced its intention to expand with a second office in Swindon, and has appointed Swindon entrepreneur James Phipps as executive chairman.
Phil Cater, co-founder of WestSpring IT, said: “We are overwhelmed and honoured to be considered on the shortlist when we have entered for the first time. To be recognised in this prestigious category is something our tight-knit team were extremely excited about.
“Our team has been working hard since we started WestSpring IT in 2016. The sustained growth we have achieved over the last year has made this recognition even sweeter. To be nominated alongside amazing small businesses in our area is a true privilege.”
The South West Business and Community Awards were established in 2018 by The Great British Expos. In the following years, the Awards have been honouring and celebrating the region’s business community achievements, resilience, innovation, and creativity. This year is set to be no different with fifteen categories that will honour the array of business talent in the South West.
Categories include Best Business, SME, New Start-Up, Employer, Male Entrepreneur, Female Entrepreneur, Young Entrepreneur, Business Leader, Networker, Apprentice, Innovator, Charity of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to the Community, Lifetime Achievement, and The Leisure & Tourism Award.
Last year, WestSpring IT won The Customer Loyalty Award at Lloyds’ British Business Excellence Awards. The company provides strategic managed IT solutions, with service excellence a priority, establishing long-lasting partnerships with businesses in the UK. Their clients include Halo Leisure, Circadian Trust, Method Consulting and Precision Resource Group.
Winners will be announced at a celebration event on Wednesday, March 12 at DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon.
