Swindon recruitment firm celebrates national award success
Aligra, the Swindon-headquartered recruitment business with eleven branches across the UK, is celebrating a clean sweep of national recognition after picking up four honours in the same week across two of the industry’s biggest award programmes.
The company was named Winner of Best Marketing Campaign at the Global Recruiter Awards, and received Highly Commended in three further categories
• Best Innovation at the Global Recruiter Awards
• Best Company to Work For at the REC Awards
• Best Team at the REC Awards
These accolades follow Aligra’s recent inclusion in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, where the company recorded a ninety four per cent engagement score, well above sector averages.
Group CEO Mark Neilson said: “Recruitment is about people, relationships and trust. These awards recognise the work that goes on every day across our eleven branches from Swindon HQ through to sites across the country.
“I am proud of everyone who has helped us grow from a local start up into a business that is now being recognised on a national stage.”
MD Andy Rowlatt added: “You do not need a huge head office or endless budgets to do good work. You need teams that care, communicate and back each other.
“These awards belong to our consultants on the phones, the people running our on site operations, and the support teams in admin, compliance and marketing who keep everything moving.”
The Best Marketing Campaign and Best Innovation honours highlight the work Aligra is doing to blend human recruitment expertise with smart technology, including its AI powered tools, digital recruiter support and data led approach to worker engagement.
Director of digital and innovation, Aaron Phull, said: “We set out a long term plan to build the recruiter of the future. That means better tools for our people, better experiences for candidates and more value for clients. These awards tell us we are moving in the right direction, but they are also a reminder to keep pushing.”
With branches in Swindon, Didcot, Hinckley, Andover, Newbury, Bristol and other key logistics and manufacturing locations, Aligra supplies temporary and permanent staff across warehousing, logistics, drivers and commercial roles.
The business plans further investment in its branch network, technology, learning and development and its internal people offer over the next few years.
