Triodos Bank voted best ethical financial provider – again
Bristol-headquartered Triodos Bank has been voted best ethical financial provider for the fourth year running at the British Bank Awards.
The awards see high-street, fintech and specialist financial providers assessed using reviews and feedback on the Smart Money People website.
This year more than 178,000 votes were cast by people contributing their customer experience.
Triodos Bank was praised by customers for its consistent approach to ethics and its friendly and caring customer service, achieving an overall 4.93 out of five rating from nearly 8,000 reviews.
The reviews covered its full range of products from personal current accounts and savings, through to banking for businesses.
Triodos Bank UK was a finalist in seven further categories, including best savings provider, best investments provider, best current account provider, best business banking provider, treating customers fairly champion, best banking app, and the headline award best British bank.

Triodos Bank offers its almost 100,000 customers banking focused on positive impact, using its deposits to support projects working to make the world fairer and more sustainable. The bank has some of the strictest minimum standards in the sector and does not finance fossil fuels, fast fashion, deforestation or weapons.
In 2025, the bank celebrates 30 years of operating in the UK.
