New manager will help steer recruitment agency

A new manager has taken the helm of Swindon’s leading independent recruitment agency, Field.

Andy Wright has joined the Commercial Road-based company, to take on the role of branch manager, to support managing director Lee Marner.

The appointment marks the second time Andy has worked with Field Recruitment. He was with the company for four years, until he left two years ago to become a contractor, working in in-house recruitment for a number of businesses.

Now Andy’s role will be to focus on running the Swindon office and developing business for Field.

“I’m delighted to be back at Field, in a new capacity,” said Andy. “Field has a reputation for providing a quality service to clients, and I want to build on this and develop the business while maintaining the excellent service we deliver.”

When Andy worked with Field before, he was involved in every area of the business, including marketing, social media and operations.

He said: “I’ll still be doing a lot of hands-on work with the business as well as taking a more strategic view to support Lee.

“Working for the past two years in in-house recruitment has given me a real insight into how recruitment works from the other side of the fence, and I will be bringing that experience and knowledge I have gained with me to my new role with Field.”

Lee Marner added: “We are delighted that Andy is rejoining Field and taking on this important role. He knows the recruitment sector inside and out, and the knowledge he has gained while working in in-house recruitment will be invaluable in help to improve the service we deliver to our clients and in driving the business forwards.”
