New appointment further strengthens Goughs Solicitors family department

Goughs Solicitors has appointed of Thomas Boyce to its family department at the firm’s Chippenham office.

Thomas joins Goughs as an Associate Solicitor from leading Bristol firm Burges Salmon. He is an experienced family solicitor and member of Resolution, where he sits on both regional and national committees. 

As such he advocates a non-confrontational approach to the resolution of disputes wherever possible. 

Thomas studied at Jesus College, Oxford, and the University of the West of England before completing his legal training with Burges Salmon. 

He has specialised in the area of family law for over 11 years and he advises a wide range of clients, both married and unmarried, on the implications of relationship breakdown, including divorce and separation; the resolution of financial claims, often involving complex issues, involving businesses, trusts and pensions; cohabitation agreements, separation agreements and pre and post marital agreements; domestic violence; and disputes involving children.

Thomas also regularly organises training for professionals interested in family law.
